Welcome to St Mabyn School! - our AMAZING School Council pupils wanted to share our lovely school with others. Through a difficult year, they have directed, filmed and edited their work - this is the result!

Our school and Pre-School is set in a beautiful village with amazing grounds for outdoor learning and Forest School sessions.

Welcome to St Mabyn Church of England Primary School!

St Mabyn Church of England Primary School is one part of a family of well-connected schools. It is a small, nurturing school packed full of love:  love for one another;  love for learning;  love for our neighbours and community and  love for God. It comfortably sits in the heart of a picturesque, small rural village being overlooked by St Mabyn Church. In our school, adults and children collaborate to create a safe learning environment where everyone can flourish and achieve greatness, becoming curious imaginative  life-long learners. St Mabyn School is the gateway through which the future possibility of the adult emerges.

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of  what the school can offer, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have. Paper copies of information on this website are available on request.

Thank you for visiting!

Our Mission Statement was decided by staff, governors and clergy at both St Mabyn and
St Tudy Schools.

At St Mabyn, with God’s love we learn, grow and flourish together.
Children, staff and parents have chosen the five Christian values they feel are important in our school.
They are:

The value of Fellowship underpins our chosen values.

1 John 3:18

"My little children, let us not love in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth,"

Each value has a chosen Bible story to help show the meaning of the value.
The staff and children have chosen:

Peace – The Christmas Story
Justice – Jonah and the Whale
Trust – Noah’s Ark
Friendship – The story of the Paralysed Man
Love – Creation
Fellowship – The Last Supper

The Celtic Cross
